Multi-Residential Customers

Below is a case study of a situation a typical customer might face and the solution the Sterling Sentinel team could use to address their needs. Solutions may vary with different factors.

Situation

In multi-residential buildings, residents and guests need a secure place to store their bicycles and vehicles. Bicycles are generally stored in chain-link bike enclosures. However, thieves can cut chain-link with a pair of pliers and steal the bike. On the other hand, when parking garages are open, intruders are able to walk in freely and vehicles with valuable goods inside may be broken into.

Solution

Residents should feel that their bicycles and vehicles are safe from thieves. The Sterling Sentinel team recommends replacing the chain-link bike enclosure with a custom fabricated expanded metal mesh enclosure, which will not bend and is extremely difficult to cut, preventing thieves from being able to break-in. For the parking garage, the Team recommends installing an aluminum parkade gate which encloses the parkade, preventing unwanted access.
